I am happy that I went there to meet and interact with few extraordinary minds. It is the place of hopes and dreams. It is the place where pressure exceeds the atmosphere and can crush your mind. And yes, the place where I met few best of my friends. I learned the way of living life, I suffered the lonely days and I also danced like an insane. I learned some great concepts of science and scored far below the average line. Aah ! Why won't I miss those days? Yup, I want to replay my life.
Yeah! I'm an IITian. A junior undergraduate of India's best IIT Kanpur. I remember the day when all of this started. Perhaps it was christmas week of 2010 and everything was going as smooth as the gentle breeze of winters. I was a studious child and was crazy about extreme concepts of physics (in fact I am) and like almost every PCM guy, I had a dream to study in the prestigious IITs. My Papa came from office and asked me of sending me to Kota. Wooah!, first time far from home and that too for long two years ! No, two year is too much. But what about the dream? There was an office guy named Basag Da (as Papa call him) who gave this brilliant idea. That time his son was studying in IIT-BHU and was a jewel of few success stories of Kota. Aah! After discussions of a month almost I was ready to go to the new place in the East of the hot state Rajasthan. To get admission in those big coaching classes is not again an easy task, you have to qualify in the tests they take which is not so easy for a simple school student. They take entrance tests. I gave tests of nearly all institutes except Resonance. Fortunately selected in all the institutes but decided to step into Bansal Classes (the then most famous and renowned one). Bansal is a tag like IITs. For a teacher, if he/she opens or joins any other coaching institute for JEE, writing Ex-Bansal faculty works as a catalyst. Bansal Classes gave many AIR-1 in IIT-JEE since it has been opened. The year I stepped Kota, many other coaching institutes were born out of BCPL.
Vibrant Academy and Allen gave a major quake to BCPL that year. But then also Bansals were ruling the kingdom. I with my Maa and Papa took train to this life changing city and reached Kota on 27th April 2011 having the train almost 3 hours delayed.
And this was the start of the journey to the place I never thought I'll love it.
